- What is River Trekking ?
River trekking is a combination of trekking and climbing and sometimes swimming along the river. It involves particular techniques like rock climbing, climbing on wet surfaces, understanding the geographical features of river/stream and valleys. - Which age group is suitable for the activity ?
9 years and above - What all safety precautions do we take regarding activity ?
Trained and experienced Instructors, International standard Equipments like ropes, carabiners and life jackets are used. - Can elderly people take part in this activity ?
Yes, the activity is perfectly safe for an healthy elderly person - How long is the river trek for ?
River trekking activity is for 3 to 4 hrs where you explore different waterfalls - Will there be instructor with us?
Yes, there will be instructor with you to guide you - Where do you conduct this activity?
There is a steam next to our camp and starting point of the activity is 20 min walk from the camp - Do we have some facilities where my child can stay while we do the activities ?
No we don’t have day care facilities - How deep is the water ?
The depth of the water varies at different points but usually be between 1ft to 3 ft and the water current is moderate. - What will be the temperature of the water ?
The temperature of the water is little cold - Do I need to carry/wear some special clothes for the activity ?
Yes you need to carry day coloured quick dry fit T shirt and a comfortable lower
- What Kind of accommodation is available ?
We have 9 Bamboo Cottages and 15 Tents with attached washrooms. - Do we provide extra beds?
Yes, we provide Extra bed on chargeable basis - Do we have a hot water supply ?
Yes, there is a hot water supply in the cottages. - How is the meal served ?
We have Dining area where all the meals are served in buffet - Do we have room service ?

We don’t provide any accommodation for our drivers. They can book a room near the camp. - Do we provide pick up vehicles from mussoorie?
Yes a vehicle can be arranged but will be on changeable bases - Do we carry a first aid kit in case of an emergency?

The camp is 12 km away from mussoorie mall road and just 5 km away from kempty waterfall - Do we have Parking facilities at the camp ?
Yes there is car parking facilities at the camp. - How long will the bonfire be conducted ?
Bonfire will be there for 2 hours
- All payments to be made in the name of “Great Rocksport Pvt. Ltd.”.
- Pictures Clicked during the program can be used for promotional purposes of Great Rocksport PVT. LTD.
- Identity proof is required at the time of check-in (Driving Licence, Student ID card, Passport, Adhaar Card )
- If any of the activities are not operated due to bad weather, technical reasons or any other safety reasons, they will not be substituted or compensated.
- It is mandatory to fill the indemnity form for every individual.
- Rocksport is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury sustained by the guest, outsider or third party.
- All images used in all the communication are for descriptive and representation purposes only.
- If the participants arrive late due to any reason, whatsoever, they are subjected to miss a few activities or meals as per the itinerary.
- No outside Food and Drinks are allowed in the campsite.
Any damage to the assets of the company by the participants during a program will be borne by the guest.
In the event that we cancel a camp due to COVID – 19, we will refund the full amount, without any deduction from basic camp fee
Please note the following:
- Refunds will be made via Cheque / Bank transfer ( not cash ) within 30 days.
- Please write to your point of contact at Rocksport stating the reason for cancellation.
- Cancellation requested before 5 days of departure will be refunded fully while those that are requested in less than 5 days of departure will be refunded after a deduction of INR 1500/- per participant only*
